STEERING COMMITTEE
The Steering Committee of RareBoost Project consists of seven members.
Dr. Uğur Özbek is Rareboost’s project ERA Chair holder and will lead Work Packages 3 and 4. He is the Research Group Leader at the Human Genetics Laboratory at IBG.
Dr. Gerhard Wingender is the Project Coordinator of RareBoost. He is the Research Group Leader at the Mucosal Immunology Laboratory at IBG.
Dr. Neşe Atabey is leading the 2nd work package of RareBoost. She has contributed to the establishment of the biobanking infrastructure in Turkey and at IBG.
Dr. İhsan Gürsel is carrying out the directorship duties at IBG. He is the Research Group Leader at the Adjuvant Innovation and Nanobiotechnology Laboratory at IBG.
Dr. Şermin Genç is the Chair of the IBG Research Programs Committee. She is the Research Group Leader of the Neurodegeneration and Neuroprotection Laboratory.
Dr. Yavuz Oktay serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Biology at Dokuz Eylül University. He is the Research Group Leader of the Neuro-Genomics Laboratory at IBG.
Dr. Okay Çağlayan is a member of the Rare and Undiagnosed Diseases Platform. He is a Professor in the Department of Molecular Medicine at the Institute of Health Sciences at Dokuz Eylül University.
Dr. Mehmet İnan is leading the 5th work package of the RareBoost project. He is the Director of the IBG-FARMA Platform at IBG.
