Prof. Özbek and IBG team attended BioExpo Life Sciences Platform in Istanbul
RareBoost project leader Prof. Uğur Özbek took part in this year’s event and moderated an engaging session on personalized medicine and targeted therapies in rare diseases and cancer. The panel session included Prof. Cengizhan Öztürk (Boğaziçi University HTTM / CT³) as a moderator, and panelists Prof. Ahmet Özen (Marmara University), Prof. Yasemin Alanay (Acıbadem University), Prof. Fatih Kocabaş (Meinox Technologies), Dr. Büşra Gürdoğan (Synbiotik & Omega Biotechnology) and Dr. Metin Kurtoğlu (Vivosel Health).
Dr. Özbek also got together with Ms. Deniz Yılmaz Atakay (President of the Turkish Rare Disease Federation) and Atty. Güneş Uyar (General Secretary of the Turkish Rare Disease Federation).
The Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center (IBG) also opened a booth at the exhibition area, welcoming visitors to learn more about our research, infrastructure, and collaborative projects.
