RareBoost at the 13th Conference of Undiagnosed Diseases Network International

RareBoost team joined the 13th Conference of Undiagnosed Diseases Network International in Seoul, Korea.

RareBoost ERA Chair Prof. Uğur Özbek presented a talk, where he described the undiagnosed disease programs under the RareBoost and Istisna projects. His talk was titled ‘Undiagnosed Disease Programs in Two Turkish Settings: Rareboost and Istisna Projects’

IBG Rare and Undiagnosed Diseases Platform (RUDiP) members Prof. Okay Çağlayan and Assist. Prof. Gülçin Çakan Akdoğan presented posters at the meeting.

Dr. Çaglayan presented their research on rare familial cancers and Dr. Akdoğan presented functional zebrafish model applications for rare diseases.

RareBoost Scientific and Ethics Board members Prof. Siddhart Banka (University of Manchester) and Prof. Gareth Baynam (The University of Western Australia) were also present at the conference.
