RareBoost-supported study from Dr. Arif Çetin’s group has been published in Nature Communications
We are excited to share that a RareBoost-supported study from IBG’s Rare and Undiagnosed Diseases Platform (RUDiP), led by Dr. Arif Çetin, has been published today in Nature Communications.
The team introduces G-Bot, an innovative and compact five-axis laboratory platform that combines automated liquid handling, live-cell imaging, and real-time data processing in one accessible system.
What makes G-Bot unique?
- Integrates pipetting, imaging, and analysis on a single compact device
- Executes complex workflows (cell seeding, drug dosing, media exchange, long-term imaging) with full environmental control
- Captures high-content data from cells, organoids, and zebrafish larvae
- Uses a tubing-based dispensing mechanism for precise, low-waste reagent delivery
- Bridges the gap between manual lab work and expensive industrial automation
This breakthrough aims to make advanced laboratory automation more accessible to small- and medium-scale research labs, enhancing reproducibility and accelerating discovery in fields from basic biology to drug development.
Congratulations to Dr. Arif Çetin and his team for this outstanding contribution!
