Training session ‘Oxford Nanopore Technologies in Human Genetics and Multiomics’ by Massive Bioinformatics

As part of the RareBoost soft skill training sessions, we are organizing a session titled, Oxford Nanopore Technologies in Human Genetics and Multiomics, by experts from Massive Bioinformatics, on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

At this session, speakers will focus on the applications of Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) in the field of human genomics and the technical advantages it offers. It will be highlighted how ONT’s long-read sequencing capability enables integrated analyses at the whole genome, transcriptome, and epigenome levels, thereby facilitating comprehensive multi-omics studies.

In this context, the presentation will discuss ONT’s effectiveness and methodological advantages in detecting complex structural variations—crucial for diagnosing rare diseases and understanding cancer biology—as well as in identifying epigenetic modifications.

The session aims to provide participants with an overview of the research potential of the ONT platform in these specific areas and the holistic perspective it offers.

We are looking forward to your participation!

Note: This session will be in English.
