RareBoost Scientific and Ethical Board met at IBG for the annual board meeting
On June 10th 2024, the RareBoost Scientific and Ethical Advisory Board (SEAB) met for the oversight duty of the RareBoost project and the annual on-site SEAB meeting.
We welcomed Dr. Siddharth Banka (The University of Manchester), Dr. Gareth Baynam (The University of Western Australia), Dr. Yasemin Alanay (Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University) and Dr. Hakan Orer (Koc University) from the SEAB at IBG.
As honorary guests, Helene and Mikk Cederroth, founders of Wilhelm Foundation, also joined the meeting.
The day started with introductions and Dr. Özbek’s updates on the RareBoost project. Next, our guests were taken on a tour of IBG facilities. Afternoon meetings included a discussion with the RUDiP members and an internal meeting of the SEAB.
On June 11th, the SEAB team toured the ancient town of Ephesus in Selçuk, Izmir.
We extend our gratitude to the members of our Scientific and Ethical Board for all their insight and working with us to make the RareBoost project a success.
